Making Money With Private Label Rights (PLR)

by Merc on June 19, 2009

I’m starting to play around with PLR these days.  I see a lot of potential in this particular scheme.  All that’s really needed is a bit of patience, some luck, and a whole lot of SEO skills.

For the uninitiated, PLRs come in the form of articles, ebooks, videos, and other versions of content.  These items are free for you to use, modify, and in most instances to resell.  The only problem with PLRs is that it is in the hands of multiple people so if you use the articles for your blog for example, you can have a lot of duplicate content.  This means that if you’re not careful, you can get penalized by Google.  Nothing serious really, the internet is awash with duplicate content brought about by article marketers.  But that’s another story.

The good thing about these PLRs is that they are, on the most part, professionally written and very targeted articles/videos.  All that’s really needed is to ‘launder’ them and they’re good as new.

There are two ways on how to ‘launder’ PLR articles.  One is you do this by yourself, and the second is by using an article rewriter.  I think that if you’re thinking of creating splogs, going with a powerful article rewriter is the way to go.  But if you want to create a more meaningful blog out of your PLR content, then I would suggest doing it the hard way, by yourself.

  • It would be great if you'll do a series of PLR posts and keep us all updated on how its going
  • I am new bee in the online work and I found your website very helpful to update my knowledge. Thank you very much for this excellent post.
