Lately I’ve been getting some really big amounts on clicks to my adsense ads. Now before your jaw drops to the floor, consider that ‘big’ is relative. I’m talking big in relation to what I usually get per click. I’m still getting almost the same number of adsense clicks from my blogs but I noticed that these past few days, my clicks have been reaching almost a dollar per. I wish I could say I get hundreds of clicks a day, that would make me wealthy beyond imagination (internet-wise). It’s just that I’ve been so used to seeing between 0.11 – 0.20 cents per click.
The really frustrating thing about it is that I cannot pinpoint which of my blogs is giving me these bonanzas. I know I know, I should have been more organized. But heck, it’s only lately that I’ve decided to really expand my wings and create blogs everywhere. And the real bummer here is that I actually know how to organize this one.
For those who don’t have a clue and are experiencing the same problems as I am, the trick is to organize your Adsense Channels. I’ve actually started on this and have created channels for each of my blogs. I didn’t go so far as to create a channel for each adtype per blog. Though you can actually do so and I do think it would make life really easier. In my case, doing this channel organization stuff is a bit of a drag because I have quite a few blogs now and I’m doing this all by myself. I’m not entrusting this one to my helpers because well, I will have to train them first, and I certainly don’t have the time to do that now.
So there, if you’re reading this and you’re planning on expanding your adsense empire, remember Adsense Channels is the way to go. Don’t be a lazy ass like me and start your expansion right.
Ta!
